BALLET NORTH presents: The Sleeping Beauty - coming June 10 and 11, 2011

-Ballet North announces an historic performance event for June 2011-
BALLET NORTH presents the timeless classical ballet and epic fairy tale The Sleeping Beauty for a limited performance run on Friday and Saturday June 10 and 11, 2011 at the Excelsior Springs Performing Arts Theater.
Featuring the timelessly beautiful choreography of Petipa, the marvelous, soaring score of Tchaikovsky and the talented dancers of Ballet North, these performances are sure to inspire and dazzle the whole family. This will be only the third time that the full length classical The Sleeping Beauty has been presented in the Kansas City area and all three times have been performed by Ballet North in 1995, 2003 and now in 2011.
ALL students of the Ballet North school are eligible to participate in this rare performance opportunity if they have enrolled for class by October 15th 2010.
