Tara Skorupa

A member of Ballet North for 6 years, she has been trained by The Classical Ballet School all her life, and most recently performed as a Step Sister in Ballet North's Cinderella at the Lyric Opera to a sold-out house, and then for 7,000 school children in roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Dew Drop Fairy, Snow Queen and in the Grand Pas De Deux in Ballet North's 14 Nutcracker performances just completed December 15 with the Liberty Symphony Orchestra at the Liberty Performing Arts Theater and the Maybe Center at William Jewell College.

She just scored a 34 on the ACT (!!!!!!!!!!) and has been accepted to Washington University in St Louis, MO. This is a very, very hard school to gain admittance into academically, on a par with Harvard or Yale. Tara is seeking admittance to Washington U on scholarship and will continue pursuing ballet at the excellent ballet department there as well as majoring in a hard science like biology. Her goal is to both earn an advanced degree and go professional with ballet.

Tara will share the lead role of Swanilda in Ballet North's upcoming production of Coppelia in the spring of 2008.

Aimi Hammann

Aimi has a 4.0 GPA and is seeking admittance on scholarship to the prestigious and very competitive North Carolina School of the Arts, which coincidentally Artistic Director Laura Reinschmidt helped with the founding of at the start of her career. Aimi will pursue her academic and ballet studies there so as to earn an advanced degree and go professional with ballet.

Aimi will share the lead role of Swanilda in Ballet North's production of Coppelia in the spring of 2008.

Kevin is a newer member of Ballet North.
